Bloom Natural Health is a Natural Medicine Center in San Diego founded by Dr. Amanda M Ward N.D. Our mission is to serve as a space where people
can begin their journeys into wellness and “blossom“ into their higher selves physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
If you've been feeling tired, irritable, and anxious; if you are unable to sleep
and are gaining weight -- the current model of mainstream medicine does not provide a way to address these issues.
Bloom is here to provide you with a place
to address your needs on all levels of your being. Bloom's approach is to incorporate the wisdom of ancient healing arts along with the most innovative,
cutting edge technologies of today’s medicine to design a complete “plan of health” individualized to each and every person. Every person is assessed as
an individual and every treatment plan is customized to match each person's needs.

strongly in the core philosophies of Naturopathic medicine, while also embracing
the best scientific diagnostic tools available. Dr. Ward speaks frequently on
topics of breast health, hormone balance and natural medicine. She has been

is a member of both the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and the
California Naturopathic Doctor’s Association.
Dr. Ward strongly upholds the naturopathic principles she was taught during
medical school. The foundation of these principles includes looking at each
person as a whole being, rather than a sum of disconnected parts. She addresses
issues not only on the physical, but on the mental and emotional planes as well.
This allows her to find and treat the root cause of the problem, rather than
simply masking individual symptoms. Dr. Ward spends a significant amount of time
with each and every patient in order to provide the time it takes unearth this
root cause.
Dr. Ward operates from the belief
that the body possesses an inherent ability to heal itself. She has used these
core principles to guide her in her own private practice, which she began in
2007. With the help of diagnostic laboratory testing, physical exams, and
diagnostic imaging procedures, she is able to provide thorough diagnoses. Some
of the modalities utilized by Dr. Ward are Digital Infrared Breast Imaging,
Nutrition, Bio-Identical Hormone replacement, Botanicals, Injectable Nutrition
I.V. Therapy, Detoxification, and Lifestyle and Diet counseling.
Her practice focuses on women’s health, mainly healthy aging, hormone
balancing, and pro- active breast health programs for women of all ages.
